For those wanting a fullrange compact surround monitoring system, NHTPro offers the S-00 powered subwoofer, an active system designed to complement both its NHTPro M-00 monitors and many other smaller powered satellite speakers as well. The S-00 subwoofer features a 125W high voltage built in amplifier incorporating low and high pass filters and a footswitch for bypass. Its driver is a long-throw treated paper 8" woofer providing output down to 39Hz. Less than one cubic foot in volume, the S-00's cabinet is constructed from 3/4" MDF (medium density fiberboard), providing a structurally sound and fully acoustically neutral cabinet. A durable powdercoat finish protects it in portable uses. The S-00 rear control panel features:

Detented variable subwoofer output control

Two-position input sensitivity (+4, -10dB) control

Defeatable auto power sensing circuit w/front LED indicator

Switchable high pass filter

Variable low pass filter

Subwoofer + highpass filter defeat via footswitch

Balanced TRS outputs; parallel balanced TRS, XLR, and unbalanced phono inputs Application Ideal for smaller project studios, post production, work station environments, and mobile applications.
