The 6040MCSS is a customized version of the original 400C Synchromatic with the addition of a vintage Filtertron pickup. Selected curly maple back, sides and neck; fine-grained spruce top; finished in hand polished natural lacquer, the Synchromatic revitalizes musical history. The edges of the body, fingerboard, headpiece and guard plate are full bound in extra wide black and ivory celluloid.
