The microphone element is a studio-quality cardioid condenser design with a threaded connection for use with the HT 4000, HT 80 or HT 81 handheld transmitter. The condenser transducer shall use an extremely thin, gold-sputtered diaphragm for an excellent, highly detailed sound. The transducer is shock mounted in a three-point suspension for suppression of footfall, handling, and cable noise. An internal windscreen minimizes wind and pop noise. The frequency range of the microphone element is 20 Hz to 20 kHz; its sensitivity at 1 kHz 7 mV/Pa; max. SPL for 3% THD 144 dB SPL; and its A weighted signal/noise ratio 75 dB.
